孩子写句子，动不动就加个 the：play the football，have the breakfast，全错。
英语里有一大批情况，名词前面什么冠词都不加，这就是"零冠词"。
球类和棋类
play 后面接运动项目，不加 the：
- play basketball / play chess
- 但乐器要加 the：play the piano
三餐和学科
- have breakfast / lunch / dinner
- study math / learn English（学科名泛指时不加）
月份、星期、节日
- in January / on Monday / at Christmas
- 注意：说"某一个一月"另说，泛指都不加。
国家、城市、人名
- in China / in Beijing / with Tom
- 例外：the US、the UK、the Netherlands 这种带了复数或全称的要加 the。
称呼和头衔
- President Lincoln / Dad / Mom
- 在家喊"妈妈"，前面什么都不加。
对比一记：go to school（上学读书）vs go to the school（去学校那栋楼，不一定读书）。差一个 the，意思差老远。
